End of Champs Lacrosse Season
The James Gang travelled to St. Catharines on Saturday for game 4 of
the Senior B semi-finals. Champs got off to a fast start with 2 quick
goals by Matt and Chad Evans but the Saints battled back to tie it up
late in the period. With 1 second to go, Champs Mike McNamara made
it 3 to 2.
The 2nd period saw the Saints outscore Norwood by a 3 to 2 margin
which sent both teams into the dressing room tied at 5 all.
St. Catharines came out in the 3rd and scored 3 goals to Norwood's
zero and the game ended 8 to 5. The Saints win the best of 5 series and
will meet the Owen Sound Woodsmen in finals. The winning team will
advance to the President's Cup.
James Gang goals scored by Matt Evans, Chad Evans (2), Mike
McNamara and Jackson Gair
Champs Lacrosse would like to thank their sponsors, fans and the
media for their support this season! We hope to see you all back at the
rink next spring!
James is the son of coach Jim

has been sadly missed since
August 8th, 1993. In his memory,
the team has adopted the name
"James Gang," and retired his
